Different types of objects have an attachment to them. Rather the spirit is good, bad or demon possessed will attach to an object' Upon passing, would you choose an object to inhabit? What would it be? Perhaps a painting, a doll, a toy, or simply the first thing you encounter to attach yourself to. They use vessels to communicate or use them to manipulate people with evil intentions to hurt others. Here are examples of famous objects with significant attachments.


The Hope Diamond
The Hope Diamond

The Hope Diamond should be kept out of human possession. This renowned gem is particularly large and has a soothing blue color. However, since the 17th century, it is believed to be cursed, bringing great misfortune and misery to its owner. According to folklore, a French merchant took the gem from one of the eyes of a Hindu idol in 1653, and since then, anyone who owns this diamond invites bad luck.

In Burton Agnes, England, there is a spooky paranormal object known as the screaming skull. This skull is thought to belong to Katherine Anne Griffith, who died in the same house after being attacked by bullies in 1620. Every night, a terrifying ghost is said to wander around the skull, creating a tremendous noise and frightening anyone who tries to remove it.

The legend of the Basano Vase dates back to 15th-century Italy. The story tells of a bride-to-be who received a simple silver vase. When she was missing for the ceremony, her future husband searched for her and found her dead, clutching the vase. A family member who inherited the vase soon died as well. After this happened a third time, a priest had the vase buried on sacred ground. Nonetheless, it was eventually unearthed. Five hundred years after the bride’s death, someone dug up the Basano Vase, and the curse continued. A police officer eventually buried the vase in a cemetery, and it hasn’t been seen since.
